I was inspired to name this new blog by a co-worker, who is a vegetarian. He was joking about how much I love to eat naan. Because at the time I was very new to trying to eat a vegetarian diet, he said, "Are you a veg or a naan-veg?" His question was a pun on the question that everybody asks each other in India: "Are you a veg or a non-veg?" So, that's the story of how this blog began. Let's see where it takes me, as I discover what there is in the unknown world of vegetarian eating. One disclaimer: I am not yet ready to go vegan. I still take milk in my coffee. One day, early in my switch, I accidentally ate eggs (unintentionally), and I still eat cheese (one of my favourite foods).

Just for the record, I ate one sliver of a slice of smoked fish and one or two slivers of a slice of roast beef, but that was it. That was the last bit of non-veg I've eaten.
ReplyDeleteAlthough, I cannot rule out whether I've had eggs in breads or sweets. It is not easy to eat eggless-sweets.
