15 days ago, I went veg

It started out as a free trial, with no commitments. Now, it's something more.

On Thursday, November 12, I woke up and had a vegetarian breakfast. That's how my "free trial" began. Really, all I decided was to pass on the bacon.

Then, for lunch, I just chose not to eat meat.

I don't remember what I had for dinner, but it was probably some snacks from the 4th floor snackbar in the office building.

This is how it began that I changed what I was eating: I just chose not to eat meat.

What was motivating me, initally, was that I wanted to see what it was all about. I wanted to say I was "veg," whenever anybody asked me what I was.

Now, I have continued with this experiment, based on a couple of factors: (i) my digestive system (It was about a week after I arrived in India when I became veg, and I thought if I switched to veg, it would help out my digestive system.), and (ii) my guilt complex (I have noticed extreme poverty in India, and I wanted to find a way to sacrifice some of the excess that we take for granted in America, namely, a diet that is rich in meats and protein.).
